1 INT. THE WORKSHOP - DAY
Written by people. Rendered by machines. Labeled, always.
Everyone deserves to know which parts of our work a machine touched. So we tell you, here and in every caption.
The short version: the writing is human, the below-the-line image work is machine-generated under our direction, and the two keep their own names.
Making Movies, 1995My job is to care about and be responsible for every frame of every movie I make.
Sidney Lumet
- Scripts
- Written by people. Marco Caruso is the author of record; the drafting passes are his. Software assists the way a research library and a patient line editor assist: coverage, continuity checks, notes. The process is logged per script.
- Images & motion
- Machine-generated under our direction, and labeled where they appear, including every development frame on this site. We work on our own machines and, where the frame demands more, with rented cloud models. Either way the label is the same: AI-generated, disclosed, and kept plainly apart from photography.
- Likenesses
- Archetypes only, invented faces only. Everything on this site and in our materials depicts invented people. Real performers and real public figures appear nowhere in generated work.
- Archival imagery
- Public domain only, verified and credited. When a page carries an archival photograph or map, its date and public-domain basis are stated in the caption. Every archival image comes from the open record, credited to its source.
- This site
- Static pages, hand-set type, nothing watching you. The fonts are served from this site, and the pages leave you alone: zero cookies, zero analytics, zero third-party requests, verified 2026-07-12. A request for materials is an email to the writer, person to person.
- One story
- Machine work is credited as machine work, handwork as handwork, and the reader and the partner hear the same account. One story, told to everyone.
- Why it matters
- Because trust is the only asset a small studio owns outright. And because the work we sell, the writing, must stand as human work, plainly and provably.
- Rights
- Original works reserved; public texts stay public. APR 70 Pictures reserves its original works: the screenplays, characters, scenes, and development materials made here. Where a property builds on a public-domain novel, the page names that source, gives its date, and credits it as free for everyone to use. APR 70 reserves only the new expression it adds on top.

2 INT. THE POINT - CONTINUOUS
Constraint again, just newer tools.
The craft of constraint continues past the writing desk. Working under a disclosure rule is a boundary like any other, and boundaries are where our best work comes from. The machine gets the busywork below the line. The people keep the story.
